REGISTER for the World Bee Day Celebration HERE!

In celebrating the first World Bee Day, Nutrinest is organizing a one-day event at our Eco Bee Garden on 20 May 2018 from 9 am to 3 pm.

The first wave of invitation goes to all the event donor and owner of the beehive removed by Nutrinest. If you belong to this group please register within this week. The following week on 14 April it will open to all public. If you are not a donor or the owner of the beehive please register on14 April onwards. I am limiting to 200 pax for this event. Each donor or owner is entitled to 4 pax admission. Only people who are registered will be allowed to participate in the event.

What is in the event?
There will be a talk by John Ascher, the professor from NUS specialize in bees. He will be giving a talk related to our local bees.
Xavier will also talk about the current issue on our local bees.

There will be showcasing some of the different types of beehives such as Flowhive, Topbar hive, Langstroth hive, Local hive.
You will also see different types of local live bees such as Apis Cerana, Apis Andreniformis, and Trigona.
There will be a demonstration on how to use of some beekeeping tools.
There may be a demonstration on honey extraction on the current beehives.

Door gift, foods, and some games such as decoration of real beehive, and photo taking competition.

You will also learn how to interact with bees, understand their behavior. What should you do when you are surrounded by bees.
What should you do if you accidentally get stung by bees? Learn to recognize the appearance of our local bees and much more.

All are free, I am currently depending on the generous donors to support the event and I will foot the balance of the bill in case there is short fall. If you would like to support this event, you can go to
